Once upon a time and far, far away, there was a sacred fire. The fire never went out. It burned enterally. But sometimes, it burned even more brightly, and in that burst of energy, it called the light beings together.
This happened when there was a need for light down on Planet Earth. Planet Earth had been constructed by the Wise Ones to be a school for the heart. It was a school conceived for only the highest level of students because of the acute separation designed into the program. There seemed to be no instruction books. Beings who entered this school were not even given the information about where they came from, where they were going, or even what they were here to do.
There were, however, clues embedded in the structure of reality which guided those who were willing to look carefully and listen. Nature provided the map of how to live as a part of something bigger and celebrate one’s own place in the larger picture.
And so, humans were invited into this grand experiment to see if the star seed in each of us could find its way back to the One with the barest of clues.
Over time, life unfolded on planet Earth. The humans found their way out of the trees and discovered their opposable thumbs. They found fire and berries, the wheel and agriculture, cities and art, music and technology.
And they also found war and injustice, degradation of the land, and suffering of all kinds.
The light beings generally followed the Directive — “Do not interfere.” Yet, there were also times when a slight nudge was necessary, and a call for the forces of love went out.
This was one of those times. The embers in the sacred fire began to pulsate, creating heat that soon exploded into bright flames. The call was going out to the light beings.
“It is time. We need to return. The planet needs to remember. Who is willing to go?”
The energy started to bubble in the beings seated around the fire. We closed our eyes and looked into the future of the Beloved Planet. Yes, she is calling us. Yes, it is time to return and be a seed of love that will spread and help the earthlings remember who they are and what they can become.
Together, we gazed into the fire and breathed in the sense of Oneness that we each held in our connection to Source. We felt the grief of leaving our home where we knew that we were One with Source. Yet we felt ourselves being pulled into the womb from which we would be born, into the earthplane, forgetting yet remembering and becoming the seed to awaken those ready to be awakened.
