Join us for an experiential Workshop with Kai Carol Jud
Wendell Meetinghouse
Sunday, April 7 – 1:00 – 5:00
Led by Kai Carol Jud
Dear Friends,
On Sunday, April 7, I will offer a workshop called Dying Before You Die—a Path Into Joyful Living at the Wendell Meetinghouse from 1:00 to 5:00. This is a free workshop. Donations will be gratefully received for the benefit of Village Neighbors and the Council on Aging.
In this workshop, we will create a space of deep community by sharing small group processes and rituals. The focus of this workshop is to begin to understand the transition we call death and to experience its mystery so that we can live our lives more joyously and fully.
Some of the issues that we will be looking at include
How to talk about death with friends and family.
What are our beliefs about death? Are they nourishing, or do we need to revise them?
What have we learned from our past experiences of the death of our loved ones?
What is our unfinished business before we die?
How can we better take care of our bodies as we age?
What are our fears about aging?
How can we help each other?
What practical steps do we need to take to prepare for our own death?
This is not a workshop devoted to pain and suffering. My intention is for participants to leave the workshop feeling enlivened and ready to live life to the fullest.

Hope to see you on April 7.
